The London 'Toxicity Charge' / 'T-charge' / Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)

Comments on that are as edifying as ever, but the piece itself is nothing-iy.

I don't much like the way the ULEZ charge is applied (0015-2345, £12.50x1, 2345-0015, £12.50x2; no reduction for heading straight for the boundary rather than using the vehicle more extensively in the zone), but that's largely prejudice from our own use case. Roll on road charging.
