I'm sure they would have collected data if they could, but their new crank doesn't have it yet. As a matter of regulation the rider is not allowed to see the numbers while riding, and for reasons they might not want to publish it, but they would still want the data for analysis in order to judge what they need to do if they want to get the record back after Ganna does a 3:57 at sea level in the World Championship next month 😀
I think it's great there was no power data involved in either the effort or analysis.
I listened to an interview after where he mentions doing heavy squats up until the day before. Sunk in how big a sprint effort the pursuit really is now
