Ain’t no gravel in Claxton
My commute is just over 6miles if I go straight in, today I managed to trim that down to a neat 30miles :D

Stigmata update; went out for a ride on the Tripster yesterday, got a KOM (massively massively important) and generally had a ruddy lovely time... decided to save my money and I've jumped in on the light bike rim group buy taking place in the orient express thread...

Big news in Epping. Some twat has nicked the ladder bridge across the river in Whitehall plain

Don’t need bridges, just need bigger tyres, bout’ time people learned

I think we all know the real culprit then!

Has anyone tried the Teravail Rutland 27.5 tyres? I'm tempted to give the 2.1s a go on my NS

Did it even have any rung left?

It had a pretty recent refurb I think. Was looking A+ last time I rode over it

This needs a cannondale lefty

I tried 700c x 38mm and the sidewall gashed open first ride and refused to seal. Felt squirmish at 50psi too. I personally hate them, other people love them.

lefty
Quinn Simmons would not ride that

My 50mm Pirelli in the front isn't going to work anywhere wet given the lack of clearance so I was thinking of throwing it on the rear where there's more room and then getting a 650Bx47 Hutchinson Touareg for the front. Anyone have any info on how they size up and opinions (that I'll ignore based on stock levels anyway) about their grip, ride, etc?

I mean, it's not a tarmac road so it has to count even if it is groomed to fuck.
Went looking for fields around Ealing and actually visited Osterley Park for the first time ever. It's quite nice even if it's just a park.

If you ever venture north of the A40, you can cycle through parks from Pitshanger upto Horsenden Hill. (Is that small brewery still going?).

I used to ride through Osterley Park for 20 years commuting.
Not everyone gets to ride through an C18th stately home as part of their day.
lol
other than the color choices this is nice though
