I have sram eagle gx 12 speed boost cranks on Mtb.
Is this the correct power meter https://www.starbike.com/en/sram-quarq-dzero-xx1-crank-spider-eagle/?country=GB¤cy=GBP&keep_params&gclid=Cj0KCQjwvaeJBhCvARIsABgTDM6tLLr4W29uUvcMDRVCt777BfxOA7ayfcX7SVt1TLr4joKCDwes1xkaAhoOEALw_wcB#104839
And I’d then need to get an axs compatible chain ring? Is that correct?

I have a quarq d zero, which started draining batteries quickly. I contacted SRAM directly and they said I could send it in and they would have a look at it and possibly repair it. Did so and got it back 3 month later with a note that they cannot repair Powermeter units and I should get in contact with a shop to buy a new one..
So probably not worth the effort..have you tried a reset? -
• #10004
Thanks, yeah done everything in the troubleshooting. Sigma have said they can do a 'special deal' on a new one but quarq don't make non-dub spiders anymore it seems so it would require a new BB etc, which is a shame as the spiders aren't that expensive these days.
I'm in contact with quarq so I'll see what they say, but yeah - don't fancy sending it off to them as it would mean being without a road bike. -

Has anyone got a broken irreparable power meter they want to get rid of?

I've a Powertap road SL+ hub and maybe a track variant coming off soon-ish.

Broken? Beyond repair?

Broken? Beyond repair?
It functions as a hub if laced up but otherwise very much dead as a PM and not supported by Paligap for repair. They would probably change the innards but that'd be £300-400.

Probably and if not now, then soon :)
Why do you want a broken PM though?

d'oh! new p2m arrived yesterday.

I have a broken Stages crank - which functions fine as a crank but the PM unit is gone - which you could use to trade in

My Powertap is free to take, as I missed the offer, they are giving me the extra software free instead. I bet they don't want it posted to Germany, so could send you some pictures.

Hi all
A bit of advice
Can I use my sora r3000 chainring on this power2max chainset?

What BCD? The "110-4S" is the newer style 4-bolt Shimano
-
• #10018
It is 110 bcd with shimano 4 arm style!
-
• #10019
Should work then. Don't think there's anything special about Sora rings that would stop them fitting - pretty sure they use the same offset 4-bolt 110 bcd as all the other newer Shimano cranks.

What are the easiest / best / cheapest options to get left/right power?
Constraints are that it must work with:
- Speedplay pedals
- 165mm cranks
- 30/46 chainrings
I have Stages left-only at the moment.
- Speedplay pedals

think your only option is probably rotor spindle or spider options or one of the left only options. you might be able to find one of the (discontinued) easton cinch pms to pair with their 46-30 rings.

Thanks. I had a look at Rotor, and it is a nightmare trying to understand the options! I didn't see anything that looked very promising.
I also had a look at Stages and I think the easiest thing would be to just get one of their right side PMs to pair with my existing L, so I think I'll do that.

It is shimano based right hand side power . I would avoid as the right hand side is not accurate. Gp lama has a huge video on this.

Yes, I read that on DC Rainmaker a while ago and filed it under 'don't bother'. I thought they might have fixed it in the last couple of years but maybe not, maybe they just upped the marketing budget!
My quarq dzero has gone kaput this week, suddenly giving calibration figures in the 1000s, and reading 69rpm (noice) when sat still. It's out of warranty with sigma but they've suggested it may be possible to get it fixed; has anyone had this issue happen and have a solution? I'm just curious if it's worth pouring money into it to have it repaired, if that's even possible.
