For simplicity and targeting, product in use, how to use ...
For simplicity and emotional impact, instantly tells the story ...

Wings need to go on top. It’s stressing me out more than it should. Other then that, perfect.
-
• #506
Haha, no stress, today, let's fly a 747, problem solved :-)
-
• #507
How come 747s have wings underneath and military transporters like the C17 or Atlas have them on top?
-
• #508
Passenger noise is probably a large consideration.
I would imagine that military cargo planes also need sturdier wing structures that would inhibit cargo space if placed below the fuselage.
-
• #509
Military planes more likely to use rough airstrips, engines higher up means less likely to get debris sucked in.

Yep, thanks. Ideally looking for more examples where the camera follows a path rather than remains fairly static.

Can you think of any recent commercial
examples? And what would the technique be called? Here's a tabletop version I remember:

Ericsson did one recently:

No idea what the technique is called though.

Just asked someone in our production team. They called it a single tracking shot. Another good example they shared:

Other then that, perfect.
'Other than that, perfect.' It’s stressing me out more than it should. :)

I'm sure Ikea have done similar, it's a hard one to google...

Not quite what you’re looking for but perhaps close? (Vertigo/dizziness warning)

Thanks all - it's not just the fact it's a 'one-er' or a single take but that there are practical transitions. Typically if you went to a new location you'd cut and it'd be a new set up but what I'm after is more like theatre where the scene changes happen live on set with practical/physical props and effects.
The Old Spice one is exactly it - can't believe I didn't recall it. OKGO, too (though more stylised) and yes I'm sure there's an IKEA one too.

Know what you mean, can only think of these ones:
Ok Go - Writings on the wall
Loyle Carner - Ottolenghi (lots of post too though)
Taylor Swift - We're Never Getting Back Together
Michael Penn - Try
Man Like Me - You'll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties (a few clever bits)
Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity -

Thanks - couple I hadn't seen/remembered. Funny seeing Virtual Insanity again - would have blown my mind when I was younger. Now seeing this IKEA thing lifting the technique (with some furniture bolted onto the flats) from 25 secs: https://vimeo.com/306705139
Agency liked the approach, so crossing fingers client do as well.

I’ve been on this journey before as well. As you say it’s tricky to Google. There’s a great black and white hip hop (I think) music video example from the 90s but I can never remember what it is!

Grammarly ads on youtube, why are you so fucking happy to be writing an email?
Regardless of your word

Looking for examples of studio sets being moved to create a new scene in either commercials or music promos - so basically a practical transition either with the set being moved in shot (breaking 4th wall revealing crew resetting) or m0re hidden 'how did they do that' etc. I'm sure there are loads but I can't think of specifics and need some references.
So far I've found these but none are quite right:
obvious/gondry-esque:

hidden/subtle:

Anyone recall any more? Don't really know what search terms to use that aren't super vague.
