Anyone been up the bridleway from Hayfield to Mount Famine/South Head via Highgate Rd, and then over to Sheffield Road recently? Is it nice fast hardpack, or am I expecting a long grassy/rocky slog if I'm on a "road+" bike?
Heading over to Hathersage on Sunday and trying to balance fun and fast with my route planning. Need to be on time, but don't really want to be waking up too early...
