I've trawled the thread a little but still feel like I can ask... has anyone on here tried the very little practice amps a la Orange Crush Mini, Laney Mini-Superg?
I want something that can be headphones or quiet, pedal board or straight in, for easy living room noodling. Guitarists in my band are telling me that a THR-5 is the only way, but I wasn't planning on dropping £150, more like £50. They both have THR-10s which to be fair, I was v impressed with when they used them for a pre-prod session round my flat.
I've been extremely impressed with my Fender Mustang Micro, headphones only obviously but it gets a lot of use at night when the baby is in bed - I pipe music in via bluetooth and just noodle away
i have a wee orange crush. it's a tranny as you'd expect with anything ear-goggle friendly. T/M/B with a clean and dirty channel which does a pretty OK approximation of something valvey. cheap, loud and and looks good.
