I was about to bring this up. He’ll start throwing his weight around again and acting like a big posh baby.
Unfortunately he will always get air time because producers on BBC Breakfast and GMB love him - he is a way for them to cover Afghanistan in a light way that their idiot viewers can understand.
So, I'm aware of this Farthing guy, but haven't really seen anything on why it was so important that the dogs got out? I've seen no indication that the Taliban were planning to kill all the dogs, or that an animal charity was at any risk of being unable to continue to function.
When I was in Afghanistan, there were loads of dogs. Working dogs, rather than pets, but seemed to be better cared for than in many other countries I've been to. Didn't seem to be the most anti-canine of countries.
