I don't think anyone working in public health would have told you " this is over" in June.
My main contact from within is normally a very chilled guy. Last couple times I've seen him he has been very flustered about the situation looming up ahead. For me this is a reasonable barometer for the direction things are headed. :(

There are going to be big spikes every time there's a mass event in the unvaccinated population.
Until you address the problems of uptake in those groups who distrust government and pharma it's going to be problematic.
I sound like a broken record but until this is fixed were fucked on so many levels.

We're still at the point of pulling bodies out of the stream rather than stopping them falling in to use the famous description.
