Before the game Rednapp said that Liverpool’s strategy should focus on winning a penalty. For once in his ignorant life he was right. That was their only strategy and they got lucky. Double jeopardy has been removed for goalkeepers but not, it seems for others. Two draconian punishments for an accidental misdemeanour. If that is the law, then the law is an ass. This is the fourth time that Taylor has made it all about him when he has reffed ed a Chelsea game. Didn’t book Salah when he ought to have. Didn’t book that other chap who constantly fouled. Booked Mendy for being abused by Henderson but not Henderson for the abuse.
The second half performance was exceptional. Showed massive team spirit.
