These are so nice!
I saw a stripped down single speed Dawes Kingpin with a coaster brake and knobbly bmx tyres the other day which I haven't stopped thinking about since. Considering building one to replace my very ratty shopper which is objectively a horrible bike (I love it tho)
(Excellent thread so far)

I think my Pashley is very cool and practical. Also heavy.

Your shopper looks identical to mine. If you do any updates to it I would love to know about it.

Love an Elephant Bike; the only thing they're missing for ultimate grab-and-go utility is IMO full chainguards and dyno lighting.

I've got a nice metal Velo Orange chainguard to go on at some point - just haven't got the right tools to fit it yet. Some of them did come with chainguards I think, but they were plastic and I've never been a fan.
And I've seen that some people have fitted dyno lights, but I'm happy with the tiny little set of LED Knogs that just go on whatever bike I'm currently using. -
