It was filmed at the NEC (or NIA? I forget), a short train journey from mine. A day out to watch Gladiators being filmed was a pretty spectacular birthday / summer holiday treat.

It was awesome watching the first scene of Gaul in Bourne Wood, Farnham

Think it was NIA, I went with my mum once. Special trip up all the way from Surrey! I remember being absolutely blown away by the pendulum.

I was 11 when Gladiators came out. Was great entertainment for a 11 year old. Can remember the warm tingly feeling that the lady gladiators gave me and everything.
