The good bits:

Well, it's blue.
It's a Specialized.
Quite light, relatively.
And it's a 26-er
Nice blue ano canti's
It's a bit ratty but not so bad (I need to give it a bit of quick clean just to check) and looks sound.
Size 19.
Nothing's stuck.
BB seems ok, headset seems not too bad.
Nice topcap, steerer and bars.
Specialized hubset (really nice, excellent chrome) on Ritchly ano rims (not bad, lots of life) and all straight.
It would make a good trail-worrier / commuter (has eyelets and rear rack bosses) or run it as a 46/18, or whatever.

The not so good bits:

It's too dark now for me to check it over properly, will do so tomorrow and give it a wipe over.
The nds crank is stuck as the threads are shot. I've tried to get it off but to no avail. Will bung it in the vice tomorrow and try to persuade it to leave.
The chainset is totally shot. The rings are toast.
I've pinched the rear mech and one of the shifters,
The Deore brake levers are scratched.
I'm near Reading, so would prefer collect (or could deliver to The London, possible next Saturday, Clapton-way.)

Say £60 collected (or that if we can do a meet in the East Ends, pending all that, etc.)?

Bit of an update and as honest a description as I can offer so as you’ll know exactly what you’re getting.

Have taken all the shit bits and bobs off.
Seat post isn’t seized, so that’s good.
Got the stuck crank arm off.
BB is gritty, could probably do with being replaced. I could also probably remove it beforehand if anyone wanted that option.
The headset is a bit gritty also, likely needs a good clean.
Rear tyre at 80psi is good. Front tyre is good but the tube valve is shot. Will throw in a new tube if I can find one in the shed.
Needs a front q/r as I had to cut the original which was seized.
Brakes work fine, anodising is not so great.
9 spd click shifter works fine.
It’s really amazingly light, even with all the bits on.
