I only ever buy cycling magazines in the airport when I go on holidays so it's been a big old gap since I've seen C+ bullshittery up close. Example A is a bike review that suggests (I think) Cannondale frames defy Newtonian physics, and B is the best kicker to a sponsored sportive review ever.
Edit - Cipo rides gravel now too of course

Oh and if you haven't been following the crazier parts of USA antivax bullshit, luxuriate in this thread that compiles the best of Facebook groups that promote the use of horse dewormers and sheep dip as an alternative to getting jabbed.

if you think about it super strong laxatives are actually quite an effect preventative treatment because you can't leave the house and catch it, if you're stuck on the shitter.

Shopping’s fine though, ‘cause you can always get a cleanup on aisle 9.

The fail there is them not giving a fuck about users. They reused a fair amount of the tech in other areas that were lucrative for them.
I have friends who disappeared into the Googleplex and totally drank the kool-aid. Well, I had friends - for those who become true believers it's a cult and sceptical voices are not welcome.

It’s a wonder the forks are the right way round.

Me, trying the softly, softly approach when putting some ESI extra chunky grips on my bars. Cue half an hour of unnecessary huffing and puffing.
-
• #26115
Have you tried the hairspray method? Or disc brake cleaner. Basically something which will spray on to the bars and lubricate them to allow the grips to slide on, but then it evaporates off without leaving a lubricated surface, so the grips don't spin. Removing them is trickier though

As above. I fitted some a few weeks back and they're brilliant to use. Get yourself some Isopropyl and install takes a few seconds, as per the video here:

Removing - Lay the bike on its side with grip in a jug of very hot water. Lift it up, letting the water drain and slide off.

Was this meant to be so arousing?

Water works fine for grip installation too.

I just don't get it... They won't have the vaccine because its "untested" but they'll use horse medication. We are doomed as a species.

That's been tested on horses for years, and people for what seems like years, but was really just half an hour.
