Fabulous bikes, possibly the best aluminium frame ever made. I'm sure you know the issues around the headset. Make sure it's sound, or you know where to get it sorted, it's a pricey job!
I have a nearly mint 57cm Quantum2 in Candy Teal in my loft. Not quite as amazing to ride, but it's not far off, and it has a chris king headset so it's a more practical proposition. I have a few earlier Quantums, including a 1992 frame thats never ever been built up, and a couple of later Trek era frames / bikes too. If you don't find a pro and you want to settle for 2nd or 3rd best let me know.
