The idea of having 2 sorted and usable bikes then not ever tinkering with them is just unhealthy!!
My cdf gets changed all the time, flat bar, swepy bar, drop bar, 1x10, 2x10, 1x1, basket, racks etc Very versatile frameset.
Would it make sense to turn the homer into drop bar set up as its got the same geo as your old caadx? Then keep the xl pomp for chillin and being cool as f and doing wheelies and skids?

I always try to have at least one simple bike running at all times. The rest are just collections of bike parts in constant flux.

@6pt once told me that ALL bikes should be ready to ride, by that he meant ALL bikes have:
- Separate frame pumps on every bike
- Separate tool rolls on every bike
- Pedals installed
- All clean and in working order
I live by this code. The joy of just changing mind last min because of weather or something and riding some other bike is beyond words.
- Separate frame pumps on every bike

thats actually really sound advice.

1-3 is just money. 4 is the hard part.

please stop, it'll add to his already inflated ego ;)

I definitely did not mean frame pumps you weirdo. But yes to the rest. It is a testament to my many middle aged failures that I now have a garage with ~20 bikes in and none of them are ready to ride.

to maj@jackets.cc
from bela@jackets.ccSubject: Name change??
Sorry to stick my oar in, but I didn't see any documentation or sign off for this name change. Personally I don't think we can go with Rivino without making some engineering change requests, specifically, we would need "1.4: Enough space to fit a 40oz Klean Kanteen between the seat tube and rear wheel" to meet brexit rivendell BSE standards when they come into full effect next year. Is that the kind of of change we want to make this late into mood boarding? I also didn't see anything about lugs which I would expect to make an appearance as supporting evidence for the brex-riv application.
Personally I think we should stick with the original SAADX, we've already a/b tested it, it connects well with our target (depressed people) and on a personal level, I don't want to have to sit through any more change review meetings.

To: bela@jackets.cc
From: maj@jackets.ccThank you for reaching out, I know you’ve been swamped lately with all the streamlining so it’s only natural you miss this, especially with our dynamic product range,
The Rivino” is in reference to article 453-23, the extra large pomp with swept back bars, branding decisions have not been reversed on the saadx but we’re anticipating a soft launch when contractors are in place
If you want to speak about this further come along to the 9am all hands tomorrow and I will be reporting on it to clear up confusion
Kind regards
Maj

This could be exactly what I am looking for too. I can't wait to see the finished article
However the paint choice scares me. I am assuming most components will be silver? Then perhaps a more classic/subtle look would suit it more?
-
• #1224
I can't get it up
We've all been there buddy....
-
• #1225
Most components will be black, it’s essentially all the bits off the other pomp bar wheels and chainset, want some ugly alloy wheels for it too, shallow, black, maybe mis match, will have the TVM stem from the homer
