@6pt once told me that ALL bikes should be ready to ride, by that he meant ALL bikes have:

1. Separate frame pumps on every bike
   
2. Separate tool rolls on every bike
   
3. Pedals installed
   
4. All clean and in working order
   
   

I live by this code. The joy of just changing mind last min because of weather or something and riding some other bike is beyond words.
