New (to me) ultegra 10 speed shifters, chain, cassette, stem, bars and bar tape. Feels like a different bike.

Can anyone suggest some forks that would suit this? 1 1/8 headtube, bought some genesis ones but feel like I need something with a narrower shoulder

Promised myself not to start any new projects but this I couldn't say no to. Had to buy this frameset as my 1993 mountainbike was in need of some family.

Got this for thirty pounds. Described as a "barn find" but seems like a track sprinter found it first as the chain ring (or something) is bent and rubs against the chain stay.
I only paid to replace the rear tube so I'm not too far out of pocket. Weighing up my options. I'm guessing to replace the chain ring I will have to buy an angle grinder and grind down the bottom bracket to accept a modern bb, chain set, chain ring, etc.... Seems a bit onerous.

These are cool. Unknown inspiration for the original paint on my Geekhouse.

You can get converters for those, I was able to find one for an oversized (not BMX!) BB shell on my old Swedish Crescent. Mine was from here:

Oh. Huh. How did you work out what you needed? Measure the BB width?

If it's steel can you just bend the chainring back? By using an adjustable, a good eye and a beer?

BB or BB shell? For the BB it was down to whatever chainline was required.

Also, nearly finished building uup this Pearson Touche with a free frame courtesy of @Rastapopoulos and mainly parts I already had from my Carlton. It will get a different saddle (possibly from the Mercian above) and some Kinesis Fend Off guards when I have some money again, and may need a new headset as the one fitted (which is made of spare parts and the bearings that came with the frame) seems to either be too loose or too tight (does this model need a specific size-anyone know?). Looking forward to getting it finished as it will be a replacement fixed gear since I foolishly sold my Carlton track a while back...nice and practical too which appeals my increasingly middle aged side....

Lovely. Exceptional fast back integration.
