A scam alert.
last Friday I received a call on my mobile from Germany.
I had enought to do, so chose not to answer it.
(I have had dealings with German companies in the past, but not the recent past).
The call was identified as Langenselbold, which is near Hanau. I've never visited Hanau,
but there are few large German companies with HQs there.
This morning another call came in from Germany*.
I answered. The couple of beats before the recorded message cut in, gave the game away.
I'm being investgated for suspicious transactions by the National Crime Agency.
Unless I dialled '1', my assets will be seized, my National Insurance number will be blocked and I will be arrested.
Anybody else on this scammers list?
(*Supposedly from Inchenhofen).
