Does it go down the steerer and then through the lug at the crown?
That's exactly what I did. The crown is hollow from the factory, giving me all the room to get the brake hose through there.
@Kimmo I don't have any pictures of it, but I brazed in some reinforcements on the inside. The reason I went this route is because of the 34-44 tapered steerer which lacks the room for "normal" holes in a steerer.

Curious how the front brake hose enters the fork blade? Does it go down the steerer and then through the lug at the crown? Whole set up is super cool.
