How very dare you! Indeed, if parted out its probably worth maybe 3.5k give or take. A fraction of what I've paid in total for it all over the years.
The money really isn't the issue at all. It's lack of recent use made me think I could put it into something else, maybe bike related or into work thats being done on the house soon.I think gbj_tester and StevePeel are right though. I know fine well that I'd have regret down the line and getting something new that had performance on par with the amp would cost a fair bit.
I think it's just the stage of life I'm in at the moment. My kids are still young etc.
I can't put a value on the enjoyment it's given me over the years previously though so I suppose that answers it.
Depends. How much money would be left over? How much space would you save? How much do you value those things over what would presumably be a downgrade in musical enjoyment?
My instinct with nice things is that there's no going back, and you will always regret downgrading just for money, but of course a sufficiently large amount of money would make the regret easier to bear.
