Scott Addict Carbon CX / Gravel 56cm

Posted on
  • Hi all.

I've long wanted an Addict CX so snapped this up recently - having convinced myself I could dial the fit to work for me. I was wrong and it's just too big, so passing it on for someone else to enjoy.

Scott Addict CX HMF Carbon Frame, replaceable hanger Size L (56cm)
    7.6kg as pictured
    Zipp Course 30 tubular wheels
Dura Ace Flight Deck Shifters ST-7800
    Deore XT rear mech
    Hope Front chainring
    Shimano FC CX70 cranks
    Syncros Saddle, Stem and Seatpost.
    Easton Handlebar
    Frogglegs Cantilevers

The tires that came with the bike were worn out so I have a brand new set of Challenge 33mm Gravel Grinders that are stretched on the rims but will need gluing. Tub adhesive included with the tires.

There's a good amount of steerer to dial fit, and I'all also include an 80mm Control Tech stem, and 44cm Deda RHM1 bars for a flatter transition from bars to hoods if that's your thing. Fresh black Supercaz Sticky Kush bar tape too.

As above I'm looking for £720 collected from Shepperton. Happy to hand the bike off to a courier as well but I won't be able to pack or ship.

I've also got a set of brand new Fulcrum Racing 5s on 35mm Panaracer Gravel Kings that would suit the bike for everyday riding. +£200 for these with the bike.

  • Do you just have a shed of slamming bikes for great prices omd

  • Haa thanks @Maj

Yeah I really love this bike for how it looks and it's so light and quick.

But I have overcome my delusion that I can make a 56 fit me!

I've had many bargains from LGFSS over the years and I'm not looking to make a profit here - just an easy sale and good deal for someone who's going to enjoy this.

The disk Addict is getting ridiculously good reviews and is so lovely, but at £3500 quite spendy. Here's an option to get a lot of the good stuff without rinsing the bank account too much...

  • banging. I've been wanting to save the canti and tub for a while, as unreasonnable as it sounds. how tall are you and how is it setup in the pic ?
geometry geeks only lists in M (530 top tube) and L (545 top tube) for the scott addict canti CX

  • how do you find that brabantia laundry airer?

  • @Glws Thanks yeah it's lovely eh?

As pictured it's set up for the guy I bought it from who was 6'1".

Here's the geo chart that shows the L as a 56. Do let me know if there's anything specific you'd like me to check and I'd be happy to.

  • @amey Good eye!

    Who doesn't love a whirligig?

  • Also got a Thomson Elite inline post I can throw in for a good price if that helps the buyer...

  • @amey Good eye!

I have a very limited space to install this that wont interfere with the door or window so I am looking at these keenly :)
