New housemates are moving in this weekend, tremendously excited:

Tentative names are Ralph for the boy and Rory for the girl, after the simpsons and gilmore girls respectively - although we haven't 100% settled on names yet.

Mainly posting them here cos they're cute and I'm excite, but also I'm curious to know if anyone has any experiences with 'wobbly cats' (cerebellar hypoplasia)? Ralph the ginger/white boy has mild CH, e.g. he trips over his feet sometimes and walks a bit funny. Particularly interested if anyone has had good/bad experiences with pet insurers?

Cat-sitting for a couple of weeks - been given the food and supplies etc. The cat litter is lavender-scented silica gel crystals I mean, wtf.

One of my bosses has lavender scented bedding for his rabbits.

Strangely your comment triggered a vague memory of buying stuff wrapped in tissue paper with some scented granules of something. I can't quite pull it to the surface though, I can't remember what, where or when. Quite strange, it can't have been that long ago.

It is a think, tried my cat with silica gel crystal but they did not like the way the crystal felt on their paws.

That’s where everyone gets their pet underwear, no?
