  • Good breakaway today. It would be nice to see Bardet or Haig get something, good riders who have had a rough time with crashes in GTs this year.

  • Fuck Valverde just binned it on a corner......jesus. Just climbed back up the bank. Lucky, it could be worse but I think his race might be done

  • I was thinking about a post about how well Movistar had done yesterday and so far today.

Then Valverde slid off a corner into the green valley and looks to be out of the race.

  • It's a sad way for the ex-doper to possibly end his GT career, looks like a collarbone. He's enjoyable to watch despite his shady past. @amey is in our thoughts today.

  • Valverde back on his bike!

  • Valverde crashes and Lopez attacks. Just movistar things.

  • Just rewatched that Valverde crash a few times and it looks like a mechanical/bike failure caused it. Hope I’m wrong for Canyon’s sake.

  • I’d buy a Canyon if one ended Valverde’s career.

  • Pothole right on the corner wasn't it?

  • Oh I didn’t see a pothole. I just saw the frame move suddenly and he went down.

If it was a pothole on a grand tour descent, that is awful.

  • His front wheel seemed to go over a dark area (pothole or asphalt patch) and shudder, then his right hand comes off the bar.

  • Sivakov is going to crash isn't he

  • I will buy a Pinarello if he does

  • He seems to have learnt everything he could from Thomas.

  • Ahhhh, his hand slipping off the bars looked like a bar or frame failure to me.

  • Definitely looks to me like a pothole or some other imperfection on the road, the way his front wheel buckles would suggest that.

  • Agreed

  • That VCL kid wins again in Norway. 2/2 for stages, points, KOM and leader's jersey. At 22 he's too old for the young rider classification

  • Kirby described it as a pothole 'no bigger than a block of butter'.

  • … ‘kin ‘ell Ethan ….. great riding

  • He’s hot stuff. That was a great uphill finish. Kristoff’s pull was awesome.

  • Kudos to Michael Storer for already arranging to leave DSM before he got his first GT stage win

  • Their is something caustic with dsm i presume ? Knowone stays long.

  • Good listen on Padun.
