That isn't entirely true, I use the tanned hides of FAT labourers, I like movement room in my kit, I use moderately sized labourer skins tanned for 3 months in human urine as undergarments.
Bootswise, I use Le Chameau neoprene lined wellies in winter, cheapie trainers in summer. I take my own risks with my toes, I still have all 10. I hate toecaps.
