If you squint you can just about see the prejudice. Elton is dressing like my aunt. To mock Elton for that is maybe kinda similar to mocking all men that dress in feminine clothing, i.e. mocking crossdressers which then by extension could maybe be mocking transexual people?

I wasn't offended but I can see how someone might be, especially if they have already taken flak socially for being transexual.

There might have been someone at (primary) school, who's name sounded a bit like "bum", or maybe "willy".
