Note wheels and seat are there just so you can see what it looks like.
It looks big and is but at just under 6 ft works fine for me and has done for a number of years.

This looks a great bike and deal but why does anyone paint titanium? Especially black
-
• #11
What the fuck is wrong with you, that's beyond lowball, pretty rude.

Oh get off the high horse. Seen much ruder here. Your reply for example.

Well it has a funny story. The orginal owner painted it lime green, before he realised drop bars would not work for him. Why green something to do with Kawasaki's, I think. I remember asking him and then crying at the answer lol.
The second owner had it black from the green. I think because they stripped the green and the finish wasn't great so painted it black. It was done at his work's workshop.
Sigh, I know right. He sold the bike because after a bike fit, it was recommended he get a 56cm tt. I bought it because it just fit (with a smaller stem), had that huge head tube, is Ti, rides awesome and takes fat tires. At that time, fat wheels were just coming into fashion and gravel bikes were not so mainstream.
It was my commuter and keeping it black made it look like a steel bike so less chance of getting nicked although it never was locked outside. So I never had it back to Ti. I could have for around £100 (that place near Surrey) but there seemed to be better things to spend the money on.
I would have to dig the orginal ad out to prove the Burls aspect as the bike is a good few years old and has been in storage for the last 18 months.
It does look better in RL, but wanted everyone to see the bits that are, hmmm used.
Maybe I should just shove on a motor.

There's nothing rude about it. It is more realistic than a grand.
And what has it to do with you anyway? Wind yer neck in.

Whatever mate. Guy’s asking for £950. Price can be debated. But coming in to offer a lowball and derisory £400 is a dick move.

Haha yeah you weren’t who i replied to. all good tho

This isn’t just a classifieds or eBay, it’s a community first. In a community people chime in when someone’s being a dick.
The seller seems happy for near offers. Operative word is near.
£400 by any metric is a dickish lowball.

Which is what I'm doing. And like I said, what's it got to do with you? You might want to stop hurling the insults.
-

That kind of lowballing is a dick move. You want him to sell you a nearly complete Burls Ti build for £400. That’s dickish & delusional lowballing.
If you wana make lowball offers like that, go to ebay.

Ha jeez. You seem to get upset very easily so I'll leave you to it. Why don't you trot up to Ruislip with a grand for a 4th hand frame with a bad paint job? Since you're so community minded and all :)

Yeah what can I say, brazen lowballing dickheads piss me off.

Awww poor you
Did someone trick you out of your trike when you were little?
I have a Burls TI bike - comes with everything except wheels, seat, seat post, seat post clamp and pedals. Its my old commuter and I am not commuting and am unlikely to be (not least because I am struggling with the distance now).
It comes with a Kinesis carbon fork, Hy-rd disc brakes, has fittings for rear rack and mudguards. Note that the bike was painted black and some of the paint has chipped but the frame has no dings etc that I can see.
I am the third owner.
It has has a hope bb, headset. Genesis bars (could use new bar tape and I will include some as well as 27.2 seat pin)
Its running an Ultegra triple with Ultegra cranks (170mm), rear mech and STIs. Front mech is a 105.
I am too embarrassed to post pictures of it till I clean it up.
Here are the frame measurements - it has a very tall head tube which I wanted.
ETT 569, ST CtoTop 566, STA 72.7, HT 200, HTA 72.7, BB Drop 69, Front Centre 599, chainstay 435, rear spacing 135, seatpost 27.2, seatpost clamp 31.8, BB shell 68 English, clearance up to a 700x40 slick.
Not sure what else to say about it.
I have no idea about pricing but was hoping for something around £950, collection from Ruislip.
PM if interested and I can clean it up and take some pictures
