If I were to walk out into the street and ask a rando for an iPhone charger, they’d either have one or they wouldn’t, but they’d understand what I was talking about.
If I were to do the same, except ask for an iPhone mains adapter, I’d draw blank stares from almost everyone.
Ergo, they are chargers.
