Oh, that's weird. In the UK, I think its fairly easy to get hold of the 36mm in both black and blue. I know that many ADs reduced the steel and gold variant of the 36mm, I think if Tudor had made the bezel polished rather than brushed, they would have been way more popular. I tried the silver 36mm on, initially I wasn't sure on it as I thought the tones all blended together with the bracelet but then I tried it somewhere else with better lighting and its definitely growing on me.
Many term the blue as an 'ink' blue. Its quite striking, it is lacquered but looks quite flat to me personally but I am partial to a sunburst dial, great for legibility though.

Thanks!
Yes, wasn't expecting such a shortage.
But maybe it's because I definitely don't fit in an air-conditioned champagne popping jewellers store on Kudamm?I am quite tempted by the blue, seems quite understated.
But when I look at the 36 I always fear that the minute hand is just to long.
Whats your opinion on that?
They are, at least for me, at a price point where I expect perfection.
There is a blue one for sale second hand, but it's far away.
All of them. Also thought it was because I asked for the silver, but when I was black might be nice too she said thats still unlikely this year.
Have to check Bucherer in Store, but the chat persons answer sounded like I wanted to buy a steel submariner.
How nice is the blue dial black bay 36?
