In fairness I kept took ages to do my full licence so it might not be fair to count all those years of insurance. But given that the first years' insurance is a fucker and could well be close to double that, I still think that's excellent value. Not to mention a much lower time cost Vs searching for, and buying a bike.
I did. Rented for a week to get my head around the clutch being operated by my left hand rather than foot. I think it was £300 for the week and obviously didn't have to worry about insurance or tax etc. Petrol is pennies. Then did my DAS in 3 days
