  • Very disappointed that that Nick Jonas wasn't involved.

  • This has appeared over the weekend at the back of our warehouse. Could it be a fox den?

  • Now I have expressed my dislike of urban foxes due to us shitty humans.

Am now feeding a couple on manky looking foxes. Seeing a fox in the snow curled up asleep got to me. Hate to see an animal suffer.

  • Apparently there is a rare jet black fox around isleworth. I've seen pictures but not seen it myself yet.

  • Lots of very healthy and fearless foxes in Rotherhithe. Only issue is my dogs will bark at them when we go out at night, and the three of them going tonto at 9.30-10pm isn't something I want to inflict on the neighbours.

  • Four fluffy baby foxes frolicking in the back garden yesterday, the epitome of cuteness. Their den is by pond and I had to pull a dead one out last week, much less cute.

  • Did you see skydancer's post?

The woman from Black Foxes UK said they'd had loads of reports, 'spanning seven boroughs'.

  • Had a visit into my home recently from a local stray cat, whilst my gardener was in and out our front door. She/He’s cat is new to our street. This morning said cat was squaring up to local established fox in the middle of our road.. it brought a whole new meaning to foxy boxing to the East End.

  • Keep on having this little fox visit our garden. Likes to curl up in the center of the lawn and snooze for a few hours.

  • That bottom pic - I'm in love.

  • He looks cute!
Hope he doesn't dig up all the things and shit all over your garden 🙂

  • Very well behaved, thankfully. He's one of a pair had a den under our (now removed) shed, which led us to wonder about cubs. No luck, but we've noticed the den's being re-dug, so there's hope yet.

  • Definitely the latter. Feeding itself isn't a problem and typically deliberate feeding is a significant proportion of an urban fox's diet.

Anything more (trying to encourage them to get closer, selfies etc) and you risk encouraging them to reduce the normal boundary they maintain around humans which is bad and there be dragons.

  • Lovely!

Since we moved from Clapton to the edge of the marshes in Walthamstow I hardly ever see foxes now. The two I have seen have both been on or near the railway which they use as a transit route, but you don't seem to get them in gardens like you do in E5.

It's another way that living here feels a bit like living in the country...

  • We've just had a family of foxes take an interest in the garden, a couple of them look to have pretty bad mange. Does anyone have any experience of trying to treat with Ivermectin?

I don't know whether helpful or totally inappropriate? Should I just call the RSPCA or local wildlife charity?

  • Anyone in E15 missing a Birkenstock?

  • Or missing a person who used to wear Birkenstocks just like those?

  • This littl'un and a friend visits the local pub at 9pm every night, to play on the grass
