My hugely optimistic overnight prediction was England take a swift couple of wickets,
but the Indian tail hangs around a bit but can't score many,
and England take 7-40 in the first 80-odd minutes,
long enough for any cloud to disperse.
Root inevitably comes in to bat at 22-2 for a tricky half hour before lunch.
