Do you mean interior fan?

I’d assume thermostat. When the thermostat on the e46 was broken/stuck open it’d take forever for the engine to get to temp, so the blower wouldn’t blow hot. That was in winter tho.

I'd also presume thermostat. What gen is it?
Don't curse your Civic - after two people dinging ours the other half pulled too hard on our vent mounted phone mount yesterday so I now need some new vent tabs, which nobody sells anywhere, so it's either a breakers or find a whole new centre vent.🤦🏻♂️
Still, all minor niggles. I arrived at the scene of a pretty nasty crash on the A road just north of Peebles the other day at the same time as the popo. Range Rover had tried to overtake in torrential rain, misjudged and hit a Tesco lorry (huge scrape down the side) before driving deep into the hedge.
One of the wheels was about 20m away on the verge...

I really don’t like vent mounted. Have instead been using one similar to this for the past could of years:

That's ingenious. My screen and vent mounted phone holders always annoy me as they either restrict visibility or ventilation.

Yup, I want one too… is there anywhere to buy one from other than cunty Amazon?

I went out yesterday and someone has knocked off my passenger side wing mirror and damaged the driver's side one, on the new car I've had for a couple of weeks (Toyota Auris, boring dad wagon).
Parts and labour to replace it through Toyota would be £388.
Found a salvaged mirror on ebay, fit it myself this evening, grand total of £76.
I'm pleased with that, as I wouldn't have been able to get it to a garage before a drive to Devon tomorrow either.

This morning I've already been down a v12 7 series E32 touring rabbit hole, cost me about an hour of work but worth it.

Yes interior fan. It’s very intermittent. Occasionally it works. The mechanic said I can fix it or replace the part. My wife went for the cheaper option of a fix. It worked for about a week then went back to be intermittent. All I know is he pulled off this bit and there was something behind it he fettled with.
The fan motor clearly works as does the temp control because we get hot and cold. It’s a rabbit hole I’m trying not to fall into

I think large v12 bills could ensue but one of these would be ideal (saloon my pref)..
Edit to add.. Jay Kay's old B9 is quite the thing..

Do you want a non-v12 e32 740? 1994, 130k miles, ace interior, almost faultless externally. Someone actually coming to view it this afternoon so that’ll give a ballpark figure.

Presumably that's the V8?

Yup. Hasn’t been run since maybe 2010 so who knows what’s under there now. Mice, probably.

Had to look that up, a fun Friday afternoon diversion. Given unlimited time, space and resources I would love to have this back on the road. Alas I have none of those things. This thing, as lovely as it is, needs to go so everything stuck behind it can get out (and go where? Who knows).

I need a BMW V8/12 in my life like I need a hole in the head. If it could fit in my garage then might entertain it, especially if it was a touring. Best of luck with the sale.

Hiya, yeah it’s mine. Cost me a fortune but makes me smile and quite useful for Dadding.

Thermostat possibly.
