Anyone know of a 24h carbon rim with a profile like a Reynolds Assault 46?

Goproe rear hub bearings have failed after <4 months :(

Complete write-off or just replace bearings? I've a pair, they're lightly used but now I'm wondering if I should plan ahead.

Hopefully just replacement, the cassette moves when I turn the axle so fingers crossed the axle isnt damaged. The seals look like they've gone on all of the bearings and feel notched.

Took a punt on faux-Rapha baselayer and jersey off AliX , first time getting bike clothes off there and I'm impressed so far. Seams look good and not irritating. The fit is a little loose up top, but that's my fault sizing for my belly rather than the chest.
Will be on the turbo soon to test out, and outside if it ever warms up again.
Anyone of the rotund persuasion taken a chance on bibshorts of AliX?

not used them, but i have used these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301933208383?hash=item464c9f233f:g:rKAAAOSw~oFXFNqo
i replaced a wolftooth (£££££) chainring and i have to say it's a bit noisier, but works fine... got about 500 miles on one and no adverse reports thusly

Yep, I also used J&L before and it worked fine, can recommend. I'll probably just pull the trigger on this Litepro when the time comes, it looks perfectly shite for a beater build.

Another recommendation for these J&L NW rings, decent bang for your buck.

sometimes i buy expensive cycling kit and sometimes i buy spexcel stuff...... with the latter; I am more than impressed with the below jersey. Material feels like exxy pas normal (but i guess for a chinese jersey it is quite pricey). Fit is spot on for me and doesn't come up stupidly small like all their other stuff (fits like rapha pro team)

i also bought a lightweight long sleeve jersey in a couple of sizes. this did come up small and the XL fits me great but the XXL isn't quite as snug fitting. if anyone wants the XXL for cost I can ship it out (all black) colourway. the material is really nice - again I am impressed

this is valuable research.

Do they always knock off the rapha PT horizontal lines logo thing? I’d be interested without that.

They do a black lightweight gilet that’s good too. £20 and extremely packable. Mine has had loads of use.

this one? - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001726593340.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.48934c4dxx6jY9
i also have this - very nice

i also hate that so tend to try and avoid. some of the jerseys dont have it, some of them do and then some of them have their own slightly slanted horizontal lines

What's the sizing like on this one? How does it compare to rapha?
-
• #9444
I have an L lightweight pro team gilet which fits only a shade smaller than an XL version of the spexcel... So I would say it is a size up job

Mine has no pockets and a mesh back.

different to mine then :-)

Another thumbs up for Spexcel, although they didn't send the long sleeve jersey I ordered. (Which I already had one of, and is fantastic) although the stitching is liable to break.

check your orders on aliexpress. i have noticed they often split the order into a couple of parcels
-
• #9449
Nah, I had to dispute it, they didn't give an answer, so I waited a til a few days before it auto shut. Still would order again though.

Another Spexcel fanboy here. Just wish they'd stop copying Rapha entirely and realise they've got a perfectly good brand going in their own right.
you should have ordered with me
