Oakley sponsored riders get to choose what glasses they wear whilst riding. They only get told what glasses to wear when doing a podium visit.

Although I’m sure there will have undoubtedly have been some extra ‘sweeteners’ thrown around to get these stupid things worn in races.

The one aspect that truly makes it a crime against humanity, is the colour mismatch between the frame and the helmet.

Lol. It was so obviously the wind that caught the bike and moved it across the road, not some magic flywheel tech that only pro-cycling teams have access to.

Meanwhile in Denmark Evenepoel misses a turn on a descent with 32km to go, gets brought back to the front, leaves everyone behind with 16km to go, takes 1.5mins on the chasers (kragh andersen, pedersen, teunissen,...), and to top things off with a couple k's to go laps the peloton on the local circuit.

I would totally buy a metallic purple bike though.

I love the idea that someone would go to the extent of developing this sort of technology and keep it totally secret, except for Bingoal - Wallonie Bruxelles, who then use it to not to win anything. Astounding business model imo

This is what I love about conspiracy stuff like this. If someone had developed this tech they 100% would have already put it into market by now not hold it back for a continental bike racing team. Same with the whole chips in vaccines and 5G transmitters. If someone had developed such a sci-fi tech, it wouldn’t be hidden behind a conspiracy, it would be the biggest product on the planet.

I hope someone offers him a book contract.
