    hello

    Surly Steamroller for sale here.

Reason for sale is I have a Mash Work and I don’t need 2 steel fixed bikes.

    -56cm
    -Classic Surly flaky decals
    -Small cosmetic ding in downtube.
-Mash Work V1 forks with the v-brake bosses.
    -Tektro mini-V
    -Alone bmx lever
    -Sugino 75 cranks 165mm
-MKS track pedals, unused cages and toe straps.
-Alternatively I have some plastic flat pedals with foot straps.
-Goldtec laced to unknown tubeless rim on the rear. (Not set up tubeless at the mo)
-Open pro laced to unknown hub on the front. Braking surface is fair.
-Wheelset is true. Bearings are smooth.
    -Lots of life in tyres.
    -Fizik Arione saddle. Minor scuffs.
    -Cinelli stem and seat post.
-Chromag long neck lock on grips.
    -T-Bar risers.
-I think the bb is basic Shimano UN-something something.
-Headset is a cane creek I believe.

    Gearing currently 47x17 but I have a 46,48 & 49t and a 16,18 &19t if you want a different ratio.
Can also throw in this lock Abus d-lock. It’s a silver rating I think. I had to upgrade to the red, gold-rated one so I can insure my Mash. Both keys.

Don’t really want to get rid of it but, as per so many Lfgss sales, the other half insists.
    :)

  • interested in frame if it comes to splitting and would like to register 1st dibs!

  • very reluctant to split tbh

  • Assuming the saddle height is set for you, how tall are you? Also, where is it located?

  • apologies. Location now updated in original post.
Saddle height is set roughly for how I used to have it. I haven't ridden this in a while. Just built up to sell. I'm 6'1" and it's been very comfy for me.

  • Cheers, too big for me, boo! GLWS

  • Think you should reconsider price. That's a lot for a heavy steel fixed gear.

  • I’m 5’9 and the 56 with a short stem is fine. The 53 is quite small

It’s a fun bike and quite versatile

  • I'm 5'11 and have a 56 roller, I have it with a 110 stem and more seat post than the above photo.

I think the price is alright, 75s, goldtec rear hub etc all quality stuff*

*I could be biased, that's how I have mine built.

  • Yes it's steel, but it's entirely 4130 chromoly. If it were made of cheap high-tensile steel, it really would be heavy and that would be reflected in the price.

  • Never ridden one but hear they are great. Good luck selling.
