They were pretty quiet last year at the start of September. A few caravans of wankers in super cars, but pretty chill otherwise. I think the local authorities take their chance after August holiday time to fix the roads so there were some temp traffic lights.
It was amazing. Highly recommended. Take your pie dish rear sprocket.
Also, Italy is on holiday in August. Not sure if that means it’ll be busy or closed.
