I can see cramming 142mm hub into 135mm spaced carbon frame going really well lol.

Sorry probably didn’t make it clear enough the QR adapters come in different sizes
142mm
135mm
100mm
and also different diameters

Those things look downright dangerous, just post which wheels/hubs they are as someone will tell you if they can be converted, and you'll need to replace the end caps, rather than using a death axle.
