Anyone got any Brommy bits (frame, fork etc) that need some metalwork doing?
I’m thinking rusted out chainstays, broken easy wheel attachment points, cracked steerer from the old style stem.
I’ve been thinking I want a brommy for a while but I’m not the ‘buy a complete bike and leave it be’ type which is why I’ve always hummed and hawed and found a reason not to buy one but I think if I can find one that’s a bit of a project it’d be more up my street.
I’ve seen some on eBay in the past that have had rusted stays or bridges on the rear triangle but of course now that I have funds available there’s nothing there!
