What saddens me most at the end of the Olympics is the return of the endless Football coverage.

Looking forward now to Paris. Hopefully we’ll be able to get some tickets. A trip to Japan was planned for last year and these games have done nothing but heighten our excitement to visit this amazing country.

I like the consistency of £2m/medal

What a depressingly large amount of money to spend on so little.

£12m per medal for Rowing. They'll be under pressure for better in Paris.

Rowing and Kayaking funding is off the charts. Boxing on the other hand is grossly underfunded.

£/active participants would be interesting but then (if you class cycling as track cycling) there all pretty minority sports.
