They showed some Chris Hoy Keirin wins and wouldn’t be in the picture now with the times he was doing. His were 10.5-10.7 seconds and Kenny was 9.5 today and loads below 10.0

Back then didn’t the derny wind up the pace higher, thus leaving them more fatigued for the final lap? I’m sure they are faster now, but it’s not directly comparable...
