As a private person I want to send a parcel with some little presents from Germany to a friend in the UK (Scotland, to be exact).
I understand I need to fill a form designating the contents and value ("CN22").
Is there some sort of treshold, value-wise, from which on it generates issues (him needing to pay when receiving the parcel)?
The other way around (from the UK to Germany) they should not make a fuss if it's below Euro 45,- - yet this rule is new (from July 1st) and matter of fact I have just been charged anyways for something coming in from GB with less value..
Brexit, how does it work?
