Winter biathlon is great to watch (I'd hate to be forced into it).
All the competitors slog themselves to death cross-country skiing, with slight breathers where they have to hit tiny targets a mile away, and in the one I watched everyone who crossed the finish line immediately collapsed knackered on the floor.
