Another suggestion I'll be supplying to the IOC is that the Modern Pentathlon events should be run in immediate succession like the triathlon. Have a swim, run to your horse, shoot some stuff whilst riding your horse then pick up a blade and survive in a ring like the royal rumble, last person around wins. There'll be bonus armour and better swords/horses for the people who finish the swim and run quickest. The first person to the ring can also set up traps and ambushes for those who arrive latest. This is all a bit harsh for the horses though so possibly sub them out for unicycles or something, I dunno.
