honestly, the fact i can ride pretty much to the center of town without touching a major road amazes me for what is something so densely populated. just a little touch of segregated shared use and some purposeful pedestrianisation and you've turned a world city into a bike friendly place.
I think this is very specific to SE London thanks to pedestrianisation of rye lane (last few days sigh), quiteway 1, surrey canal path and NCN21.

what??? they're re-opening it??????
@launchpadboi took me on your scenic route but the rye lane to the canal path is just so direct and good???? cant believe they're undoing it????
but tbf, once over tower bridge you can ride up to clissold with very little major road usage.
@platypus thank you very much i will look into this using the komoot cycle map filter to see how chilled i can get it, if you have a RWGPS/ Komoot link to dm i would very much apreciate it (goes for anyone here)

once over tower bridge
stop hating yourself and take any other bridge/greenwich tunnel and CS3
but yeah this is my theory about not leaving London, I doubt any other city is at the pointy end of cycling infra as London

Also tower bridge is good?
the king of infra bridges is blackfriars but pretty much all except tower bridge have dedicated bike lanes (not just paint) now.
good vibes in woolwich tunnel and excellent veggie curry on the other side in east ham
limehouse basin is a puzzle i am yet to solve; get lost every time towards viccy park

brouter looks good! Do you have an opinion on how it compares to cycle.travel in terms of useful, quiet, London routes?

Proper lovely! Excuse my ignorance/laziness, what is that saddle?

Thank you! It’s actually the very rare and exsclusive “brand x”, it came on the bike when bought and I’ve grown fond of it
I think for this position (up right) it might be a touch narrow, but not enough for me to splash out on finding a replacement
Thank you @Josh very kind from the hybrid connoisseur himself

I am acquiring a Wizard Works piece. We can then get a flat white somewhere.

Finally you’ve met my aesthetic requirements for a meet up, good to see
Nice and very underrated park. I miss living near there.
