Yeah true and the issue now is the GB team doesn't have a time for fastest-losers.

They were never going to trouble the Australian or NZ teams' times.

Except they put Tanfield back on the bike to finish. I think if they had not then GB’s qualifying time would have counted.

It will be interesting to see the medal splits at the end of the track cycling. I wonder if it will turn out that each country has targeted one or two events rather than spreading across a range of events. Perhaps GB will be shown to have spread themselves a little thin.
