Looking at your phone stands for a moment I thought you had a Palm Pilot or something. And then I remembered it isn't 2001 anymore.

I found a palm pilot at work the other week when clearing out, amongst tons of floppy disks and VHS, and lots of other ancient redundant kit.

For those with sit/stand desks, how often do you actually use the stand part?
Trying to decide on a new desk and like the idea of sit/stand but am wondering if it's a novelty that you stop using after a few weeks.

TheMy Flexispot has a timer that I set to 30 minutes, which resets when you change the desk height. -

The Flexispot has a timer
Just to disambiguate for any other potential buyers: mine does not have a timer, so check the specs if you want one.
I mostly stand for a couple of hours at the end of the day. Sometimes stand all day, and if I've done a lot of walking/cycling I sit all day.
It is easy to forget to move it so the timer's probably useful. But maybe I can replicate it with a dedicated egg timer

It's getting there.
Shelving turned up at 8am this morning... needs to be fully assembled, after that I can start putting the desk together more completely.
The design shows what the intended shelving configuration is, but at the moment these are just balanced in placed to act as a guide for the rawl plugs and screws.

I hadn't, but yes I will need to do so.
The skirting board overlaps by 0.5cm but it's enough to ensure it's not a neat fit.
I'll also need to reconsider the layout as the drawers will overlap the sockets. Didn't bother measuring in advance as I knew I could move everything around.

At least one cyclist man can lift them unlike the hefty vitsoe cabs…!
Found a stack of books is a good adjustable jack to get them to the right height before clipping them in.
