Then you might want to match the old model/brand. Not all locks are as well made as others. I wouldn't be surprised if a cheap lock has poor tolerances which makes it easier to pick/bypaas (if you care about that) and also more likely to stick when being used.
That's just what we have on the moment, and they work well so wanted to do a like for like replacement. We need to replace the locks as old keys have gone missing and have changed hands with previous tenants (especially a recently ex-tenant who's being very vague about what keys they have left).
