Their approach to everyone's safety with the "we won't be enforcing any safety measures" followed by the swift 110 degree (partial turnaround, ha) to "we might do a couple of safety measures" was enough to deter anyone from my social gaming group down here. I get the gov basically are forcing them into a tough spot but something like that is always going to be high-risk imho given the interaction elements are the key attractor to the event.
hopefully they can ride out this year and be financially able to stay running and get back to something a bit more normal next year
It was great, but much reduced, so you weren't missing out. Capacity was definitely restricted, and there was loads of space. And I've never seen so many people wearing masks, it was very refreshing to see.
But yeah, next year see ya there. We'll have to do an Arkham Horror scenario.
