Thanks, don't know why I couldn't find that. Heard many good things about the Romin, but no idea if it will be friendly with my butt.

Work meeting at 11am; a 50-something year old person has hand so shaky they become self conscious and eventually give up trying to point something out on the big screen.
I am thinking a there's a wee bit of a booze problem here ... Any other potential causes I should be aware of? -

Surely any number of medical conditions?
Also likely NOYFB unless they're a surgeon.

NOYFB

[…] hand so shaky […] Any other potential causes I should be aware of?
Yes—essential tremor, and Parkinson’s for example. Be kind by default.

Just to add my tuppence worth, most of the medical conditions you might think of will trigger protection under the disability discrimination provisions of the Equality Act from the time you become, or should have become, aware that the person concerned has such an impairment. (So, um, 11 o'clock this morning ...)
Kindness, compassion ... Offer support (signpost to any employee assistance programme?) without making assumptions or asking about medical/booze-related details: focus on the effects on work output if these are negative, and look at ways the organisation can make adjustments to alleviate these.

Also worth noting that tremor can be exacerbated by anxiety, so +1 for being supportive and kind.

Nerves, stress, fear of making mistake? Not comfortable being centre of attention in a group? Does tremor persist at all times or only present during that type of activity?

My dad had a noticeable tremor from mid 40s. No alcohol problem, no particular medical issue. Potentially caused by a previous line of work. Enough that pouring tea was a challenge, definitely something he was self-conscious about in front of others. He also stopped taking photos for many years (a favourite hobby) although now with the latest digital kit it's fine. I get it a bit when I'm tired or nervous.

Need two matching padlocks, that come with multiple keys, and use the same key, ie the key works on both locks, and there are 6-8 keys total.
Any ideas where to look?
Edit: ideally with a disc tumbler key rather than a normal key. This is what we currently have, but we're down to 2 keys, which is a pain for a communal shed for 5 flats.

Abus sell keyed-alike padlocks, and it’s possible (although I had to have them shipped from Germany) to get matching D-locks too.

Any hardware store should have a matched set, then just get the extra keys cut at a locksmith,

Insurance - anyone with any inside-knowing have a view on whether I'm going to be able to insure a spenny airbnb booking against covid cancellation? £4k drop for a stag do, they've (understandably, tbf) set their cancellation policy as very strict for obvious reasons (demand is through the roof, supply is low and people being cunts and taking advantage of 5 day cancellation policy etc) - they have suggested I can insure against lockdown/government advice meaning we can't go. I can't see anyone offering this and one broker I've spoken to said no-one will underwrite anything covid-related. I'd love it if someone informed could confirm this so I can stop searching through various insurance websites with their interminable 'give us all your info to get a quote that is really a data collection exercise anyway'...

Thanks for the help all, the hurdle I seem to be getting stuck behind is 6-8 keys and disk cylinder.
Edit: we have a winner!

It could be caused by all manner of things - some of which are worrisome - my anecdata was just that it could also be nothing much at all.

• #109346
I don't really understand the disc requirement which seems to imply more than a passing thought for security and then buying something random from eBay for not much money.

A Big X Top bag meets those criteria perfectly. According to wherever the thread is on here he'll be making them again soon but I imagine I it will take some time before you can get one.
